Long-Term Volunteer Opportunities

Support Our Programs!

  • SPIN Forward Mentor: Volunteer as a mentor supporting middle and early high-school students in the SPIN Forward program, guide them through lab/field activities, build meaningful relationships, and help them explore STEM pathways.

  • SPIN Fellows Career Coach: Provide culturally responsive coaching for SPIN Fellows (11th–12th graders), offering career guidance, informational interviews, internship and job-shadow opportunities, and workshops on career or college prep.

  • Host a Field Day: Partner with SPIN to host an interactive Field Day where students visit your workplace or site for STEM activities, tours, and panels that showcase real-world STEM experiences.

  • Become a Partner: We’re always exploring meaningful ways to connect with our community. If you’re interested in collaborating or partnering with us, let’s start the conversation.

Cross Organization Support

  • Office Support: Help the organization with administrative and operational tasks that support SPIN’s ongoing programs and events

  • SPIN Ambassador: Serve as a community ambassador for SPIN by helping spread awareness, represent the organization, and support outreach and engagement efforts across networks and communities.

Join our Board!

  • Board Member: Help guide our organization’s vision and strategy. Board members provide leadership, governance, and expertise to strengthen our impact and long-term success.
