Be a Mentor

The Role

SPIN Girls seeks women of color* working in a STEM field** to volunteer their time as mentors for our students. Please keep in mind, you will be responsible for mentoring 1-3 students of color, so you will need to be able to provide a culturally-responsive and uplifting mentorship experience.

Your role as a mentor can have a significant impact on our students in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations. You can serve as a connection for a young person to personal growth and development as well as social and economic opportunity. And when we make this investment in young women, the ripples of those investments are seen for generations.
